In the wake of the 2001 terrorist attacks two unemployed American chefs venture to Shanghai, China to find work and end up haveing a life changing adventure.
The books are works of fiction.
Likenesses to actual individuals and real events are intentional and sometimes written with love and other times written with malice. In the end though, they are novels and should be read as such.
The stories contain grafic accounts of sex and violence and are not suitable for minors or persons with strong religouse beliefs to read.
